2025 Emerging Leader of the Year
The Emerging Leader of the Year Award recognizes a dynamic individual who embodies the entrepreneurial spirit and forward-thinking leadership that drives Fauquier County's business community forward—an exceptional professional 40 years of age or younger who has established deep roots in our business landscape for more than three years, someone who doesn't just participate in the entrepreneurial ecosystem but actively shapes it through passionate advocacy, innovative education initiatives, and transformative mentorship that lifts others up, demonstrating unlimited potential for long-term impact with the drive and vision to create lasting change in our business community.
Outstanding nominees will shine in one or more of these key areas:
• Community Involvement - Considered a cornerstone of positive change, investing time and talent to strengthen our local business community.
• Initiative & Tenacity - Takes action, pushing through obstacles with unwavering determination to turn ambitious ideas into reality.
• Leadership - Inspires others through example, building bridges between stakeholders and rallying people around a shared vision for success.
• Professional Accomplishments - Achieves measurable results that demonstrate exceptional skill, innovation, and impact within their field or industry.
• Vision - Sees possibilities where others see problems, thinking strategically about the future while taking concrete steps to make that vision a reality.
Nomination Requirements:
• May not have received the award in the last 10 years
• Nominations of active Board Members are not permitted
• Business nominees must be an active member of the Chamber
• Individual nominees must be a listed representative of an active Chamber member
• A person may only submit one nomination per category
• All entries will be reviewed by committee with the top three in each category chosen as the final nominees that will be voted on by membership.
