2025 Non-Profit of the Year
The Non-Profit of the Year Award recognizes an exceptional organization that embodies the spirit of service and transformative community impact that strengthens Fauquier County's social fabric—a mission-driven organization that has established deep roots in our community for more than three years, one that doesn't just address community needs but actively creates innovative solutions through passionate advocacy, collaborative partnerships, and sustainable programs that uplift lives and create lasting positive change, demonstrating measurable impact and unlimited potential for continued service to our community.
Outstanding nominees will shine in one or more of these key areas:
• Community Impact - Provides for community needs by creating measurable, lasting benefits that strengthen the social foundation of Fauquier County.
• Innovation & Adaptability - Develops creative approaches to social challenges while maximizing resources and finding new ways to serve their mission.
• Collaboration & Partnership - Builds meaningful alliances with organizations, businesses, and stakeholders that create a more connected community.
• Organizational Excellence - Exceptional use of resources, effective governance, and accountability to donors, volunteers, and the community.
• Sustainable Growth - Builds sustainable programs that ensures continued service while inspiring others to join their mission and expand their reach.
Nomination Requirements:
• May not have received the award in the last 10 years
• Nominations of active Board Members are not permitted
• Business nominees must be an active member of the Chamber
• Individual nominees must be a listed representative of an active Chamber member
• A person may only submit one nomination per category
• All entries will be reviewed by committee with the top three in each category chosen as the final nominees that will be voted on by membership.
