Volunteer of the Year

The Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes an individual whose service has made a lasting difference in our community. Nominees should reflect one or more of the attributes below, and nominations are reviewed by committee, with the top three finalists put to a member vote.

Community Impact

- Creates lasting positive change, consistently going beyond what's expected to meet community needs

Initiative & Commitment

- Identifies problems and takes action, showing reliability and follow-through

Leadership & Inspiration

- Motivates others and builds collaborative partnerships through example

Service Excellence

- Brings skill and creativity to their work, achieving results that benefit others

Vision & Innovation

- Pioneers new approaches to volunteer service with lasting benefit

NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS:

- Nominee must not have received this award in the past 10 years

- Nominee must not be an active Chamber Board Member

- Business nominees must be active Chamber members; individual nominees must be a listed representative of an active Chamber member

- One nomination per person, per category

- All nominations are reviewed by committee; the top three per category advance to a member vote
