2025 Entrepreneur of the Year
The Entrepreneur of the Year Award celebrates a visionary business leader who exemplifies the innovative spirit and transformative impact that defines Fauquier County's entrepreneurial excellence—an exceptional individual who has built or significantly grown a thriving enterprise while establishing themselves as a cornerstone of our business community for more than three years, someone who doesn't just run a successful business but elevates the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem through bold innovation, strategic risk-taking, and unwavering commitment to creating value for customers, employees, and the broader community, demonstrating the courage and acumen to turn ambitious visions into sustainable success stories that inspire others to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
Outstanding nominees will excel in one or more of these key areas:
• Business Innovation - Demonstrates creativity in developing products or services that meet needs driving growth in revenue or market share.
• Economic Impact - Generates economic value through job creation, local investment, and contribution to the tax base and economic vitality.
• Leadership - Cultivates high-performing teams, creates positive workplace culture, and develops talent that contributes to company success.
• Competitive Advantage - Establishes competitive advantages through strategic thinking and execution excellence.
• Community Investment - Supports emerging leaders and invests time and resources to strengthen our business landscape.
Nomination Requirements:
• May not have received the award in the last 10 years
• Nominations of active Board Members are not permitted
• Business nominees must be an active member of the Chamber
• Individual nominees must be a listed representative of an active Chamber member
• A person may only submit one nomination per category
• All entries will be reviewed by committee with the top three in each category chosen as the final nominees that will be voted on by membership.
