DESCRIPTION:Join the Fauquier Chamber of Commerce for a special 5th Friday Field Trip as we go behind the scenes with the Fauquier County Department of Environmental Services for an educational tour of the Fauquier County Landfill and Environmental Services operations.\n\n\n\nThis unique experience will provide attendees with a firsthand look at how Fauquier County manages waste disposal\, recycling\, and environmental stewardship efforts that support our community every day. Participants will learn more about the County's mission to provide safe\, efficient\, and environmentally friendly recycling and waste collection systems for residents and businesses alike.\n\n \n\nMission of Environmental Services:\n\nThe Department of Environmental Services strives to provide safe\, efficient\, and environmentally friendly recycling and waste residential collection sites\, transfer station\, and recycling system for county residents and businesses.\n\n \n\nImportant Information for Attendees:\n\n\n	Guests are encouraged to arrive by 8:45 AM as the tour will begin promptly at 9:00 AM\n	Closed-toed shoes are required\n	Please dress appropriately for outdoor conditions and possible muddy terrain\n	Carpooling is strongly encouraged due to limited parking availability\n	Overflow parking will be available at Laurel Ridge Community College if needed\n\n We look forward to offering this engaging opportunity to learn more about an essential community operation while connecting with fellow Chamber members and local professionals.
