DESCRIPTION:Leadership Fauquier invites community members interested in learning more about the nonprofit organization's 10-month leadership program to attend its upcoming informational event on Thursday\, March 28\, from 6-7 p.m. at the PATH Foundation\, 321 Walker Drive\, in Warrenton. This free event is a no-commitment chance for employers\, workforce members\, and residents of Fauquier County to hear about the program directly from Leadership Fauquier alumni and current participants\, ask questions\, and discover if Leadership Fauquier would be a good fit for them or their company. \n\nThe Leadership Fauquier mission is to create a thriving community through informed and connected leaders. "Our goals are to teach emerging community leaders about the resources within and workings of Fauquier County and to introduce our participants to the people who make it all happen. We also incorporate valuable leadership training to help grow participants in their personal and professional lives\," said Leadership Fauquier Executive Director Deanna Hammer.\n\nThe application period for Leadership Fauquier Class of 2024 will open on April 1 and run through June 14. The 10-month program is open to anyone who has lived or worked in Fauquier County for at least 1 year and who is looking to become more informed about county resources\, operations\, and leadership\, and to become engaged in some area of interest.
