We’re excited to welcome Trovon C. Williams as our speaker this year! He’s the creative force behind some of the NAACP’s boldest campaigns, like #WeAreDoneDying and Hey Black America. As Senior VP of Marketing & Comms, he’s grown the org’s digital footprint by 4,000% and helped mobilize hundreds of thousands for justice. A Hampton grad and PR Week “40 Under 40” honoree, he proudly reps Alpha Phi Alpha and brings the heat when it comes to impact and storytelling.
Adding some musical entertainment to our program will be Andre Marshall with Family and Friends.
During the celebration, we will proudly reveal the recipient of the Fauquier NAACP's 5th Annual Distinguished Citizen Service Award. This prestigious accolade honors an individual who has made exceptional contributions to our community and exemplifies the principles of justice, equality, and service. Also new for this year, we will be awarding the Fauquier Black Business of the Year! In addition to this award, we will be awarding the Fauquier Black Business of the Year as well as a new award, Fauquier Emerging Leader!
By participating in this event, you will directly support the efforts of the Fauquier NAACP. Your contribution will help us continue our vital work, including awarding scholarships to deserving students, organizing public housing forums, providing assistance to those impacted by facing racial discrimination, and advocating for essential policy changes. If you would like to just make a donation, please donate here.
We wholeheartedly invite you to join us for this memorable evening of celebration, empowerment, and community engagement. Your presence and support will make a significant difference in the lives of many. Together, we can strive for a more just and equitable society.
