The Gloria Faye Dingus Music Alliance is pleased to welcome Raleigh North Carolina grown and worldwide touring ensemble, Chatham County Line to Gloria's Listening Room. Chatham County Line has been beating the stage with their cowboy boots now for over two decades Embracing the heart-worn songwriting and rough-hewn voice of leader Dave Wilson the band has graced stages all across the U.S. as well as Europe, Scandinavia, Ireland and the United Kingdom. With nine studio albums of original material to pull from, CCL has a sound all their own and a stage show to match. The 2020 release of their 9th studio album Strange Fascination built on an established foundation of acoustic guitar, harmonica, mandolin, fiddle, and standup bass adding touches of pedal steel, banjo, piano, synthesizers and for the first time, drums on every track. The band now tours with drums full time as well as Greg and Dave adding some Pedal Steel and Electric Guitar to the mix. Forever young, a little louder with a backbeat, and a touch more psychedelic, Dave Wilson (guitars, harmonica), John (mandolin, fiddle) and Greg (Standup Bass, Pedal Steel) plan on, as leader and songwriter Dave Wilson says “keep ’em smiling. You won’t want to miss this exceptional night of bluegrass and Americana from some of the best in the business! Tickets are $25, seating is limited, and advance purchase is recommended. Gloria's Concessions bar will be open with refreshments and light snacks available. Children 12 and under admitted free with parent. Doors open at 7:30 and the concert will begin at 8pm.
