Helping Anxious Youth Cope
The Mental Health Association facilitates and promotes mental wellness in Fauquier and Rappahannock counties, and presents monthly Lunch & Learn webinars, to address a variety of topics. In 2023, Lunch & Learns will be offered from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month.
This month's Lunch & Learn: Helping Anxious Youth Cope will help parents, guardians and other adults understand the prevalence of anxiety in children and teens.
Renee Norden, executive director for the Mental Health Association, will share the differences between anxiety and stress, and information about the signs and symptoms of anxiety. She will explain ways to help youth cope, and she will discuss when it is necessary to seek professional help and other helpful resources that are available. Registration is required.
