Tour Boulder Crest Foundation
Welcome to Bluemont, Virginia.
Located an hour west of Washington DC. Our 37 acres were initially surveyed by George Washington and his brother John, and hosted soldiers from the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, to include the infamous Mosby Rangers. Boulder Crest Virginia provides programs and a place for veterans, first responders, and their families to rediscover themselves and one other.
Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this location features four ADA-accessible cabins, each with three bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, free Wi-Fi, amongst other amenities.
We’ve all benefited from the sacrifices made by our heroic veterans and first responders. Boulder Crest Foundation is there for those who serve us all; creating a pathway for veterans and first responders to turn their struggles into strength.
Therapeutic and recreational activities include equine, archery, art, music, labyrinth walks, and fishing. The surrounding area is an outdoor paradise that offers hiking on the Appalachian Trail, kayaking in the Shenandoah River, and many local attractions to include local wineries and breweries.
Optional, organized group activities, such as barbecues and bonfires, create opportunities for guests to connect with, and draw strength from, one another in this warrior’s paradise.
