Elderberry Production Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Specialist to join the EE team in a fast-paced commercial kitchen. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the creation, bottling and packaging of all Erin's Elderberries products, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining efficiency on the production line. This position requires efficient and timely work.

You will be responsible for the complete production and also overseeing the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of Erin's Elderberries hand made products. Currently this position takes anywhere from 10-25hours/week, although there is room for potential growth in time needed as the company grows.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Learn and perfect making all Erin's Elderberries branded products- The CEO will train and demonstrate how to make everything.
  • Learn and Understand the mission and production needs of Erin's Elderberries as it pertains to both retail and wholesale customers.
  • Independently Manage the production schedule of Erin's Elderberries products.
  • Manage the production assistant to ensure accurate and timely stock of products needed for the store, farmers markets, wholesale orders and special events.
  • Manage and keep inventory of all bottling supplies, labels, as well as individual ingredients and alerting the Executive Assistant when orders need to be made.
  • Be responsible for the condition of the production kitchen. Ensuring it stays clean and organized.
  • Undergo training for the shop (register, drinks, etc) in order to be able to provide backup assistance in the event it is needed.
  • Be available to work Erin's Elderberries large community events (3 times a year)
  • Be available to work a large scale event on weekends where EE products are exclusively sold, where you would represent Erin's Elderberries food manufacturing (3x a year, very limited)
  • Be able to take and pass a Food Manager's Certification Course (paid for by EE)
  • Be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Be able to make a local delivery to one of our retailers if needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
