Axium-27™ LLC is a governance and leadership advisory firm led by its founder, Dr. Carlos Rios-Collazo. Headquartered in Marshall, Virginia, the firm helps clients remove barriers to organizational success by ensuring that leadership operates in conformity with the institution’s design-basis and business model. Dr. Rios-Collazo’s advisory practice focuses on diagnosing and resolving misalignment between leadership practices and governance conditions that compromise organizational capability, performance, and resilience.

Dr. Rios-Collazo founded Axium-27 after a 27-year federal law enforcement career that included service in the U.S. Secret Service Presidential Protective Division, leadership of national-scope Inspector General investigative programs, and culminated as Assistant Director for Investigations at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, where he oversaw national compliance, policy management, and quality assurance programs.
