Leadership Fauquier

About Us

Leadership Fauquier is a signature community leadership program that provides its cohorts knowledge, skills and connections to grow personally and professionally as leaders within the Fauquier County community and beyond.

Overview
Applications open in the spring of each year, and the cohort is announced in the late summer with onboarding prior to the program starting in September.
Applicants must have lived or work in Fauquier County for 1 year.
A two-day retreat in September kicks off the program, and then our class meets monthly from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. October through May for a full day of learning, exploring the community, and networking. We finish our program with a graduation in May or June depending on the calendar.
Participants must believe that the sustainable success of our community is dependent on informed and connected leaders and must want to join our alumni in supporting the Leadership Fauquier mission to create a thriving community through engaged and connected leaders.
