Michael Poss, MD, extends pain management clinic hours at Blue Ridge Orthopedic & Spine Center

Due to increased demand, Michael Poss, MD, has added an additional day to his pain management clinic schedule at Blue Ridge Orthopaedic & Spine Center. In addition to Wednesdays, patients can now schedule an appointment on Thursdays with Dr. Poss. He will continue to perform procedures on Mondays and Tuesdays at the outpatient surgical center* in our Warrenton VA office.
 
Dr. Poss joined Blue Ridge’s pain clinic in 2023, bringing with him over 25 years of experience treating painful orthopedic conditions and a special interest in regenerative medicine. Prior to his career as a pain management physician, Dr. Poss served as a United States Naval Medical Officer. He completed medical school and his residency at Wake Forest University Baptist School of Medicine. As a student, he was awarded the Research Triangle Park Award for Excellence in Studies and the Wake Forest University Award for Excellence in Student Research.
 
In addition to Dr. Poss, our pain clinic includes three full-time providers: Daniel Heller, MD, Jenna Pataluna, PA-C, and Colleen McElhinney, PA-C. Combined, they total 75 years of professional experience.
 
Pain management appointments are available at both our Warrenton VA and Gainesville VA offices. Blue Ridge Orthopaedic & Spine Center offers a comprehensive range of orthopedic health care, including sports medicine, joint replacement, spine, pain management, and physical therapy services. Established in 1977, our practice serves the residents of Fauquier, Culpeper, western Prince William, and surrounding counties.
 
*The surgical center in our Warrenton VA office — where Dr. Poss, Dr. Heller, and several other Blue Ridge surgeons perform outpatient procedures — was recently remodeled accommodate increased demand.
