Aging Together’s 5 Over 50 Honorees Announced for 2025

Aging Together is pleased to announce the 5 Over 50 honorees for 2025. One person from each of the region’s five counties is chosen for the award. Each of this year’s honorees has exemplified their own personal brand of selfless devotion and dedication and consequently received countless accolades and the respect of friends, coworkers, and residents of their county. As is customary the honorees were nominated by their own peers and then selected for the award by committee. This year’s 5 Over 50 honorees are:

Culpeper County:                Sharon Welch Clark
Fauquier County:
                 Karen White
Madison County:
                  Carlyle Weaver
Orange County:
                    Mary-Jane Atwater
Rappahannock County:      Barbara and Matthew Black

The 5 Over 50 celebration will once again be a combined event, not unlike the years before the COVID pandemic. It will be a banquet held on September 18, in conjunction with Aging Together’s annual meeting, at Fauquier Springs Country Club. More information will follow, and updates will be posted on Aging Together’s website (www.agingtogether.org).
The mission of Aging Together is, through partnerships, to connect people to communities and resources to improve quality of life as we age. Aging Together serves the counties of Culpeper, Fauquier, Orange, Madison and Rappahannock.
