Changes are underway to Dok Klaus Computer Care - and that includes the signage!

For the past couple of years, the small family computer repair business has been under the leadership of Virginia Palmer-Fuechsel, wife to the late Dok Klaus. Together with her daughters and a team of trusted techs, she has kept the business running. That has also meant making some changes to pricing and services, and improvements to the building and signage.

“We are very grateful to Piedmont Press & Graphics for their advice on the type of sign to install. Thanks to them, we now have a new, fresh sign welcoming our clients. We appreciate having trusted Chambers members we can call on!” says Virginia.

The new sign is part of the transition to leadership under Silvia Fuechsel, Dok's oldest daughter. Virginia has decided to step back into her original oversight role. She will continue to be a part of the company, offering wisdom gleaned from 20+ years with the business.

Silvia grew up with DKCC, helping her dad after school and during holidays as a teenager. After college, she moved to Germany and worked in various administrative and translation positions. The family business was never far away though, as she helped with marketing campaigns remotely. In 2023, Klaus and Virginia asked Silvia if she would move back to Warrenton. Thanks to the move, she was able to spend more quality time with Klaus before he passed. Since then, Silvia has grown in her position, taking on more challenges and networking with the local community.

“I’m excited to be continuing dad’s legacy of offering one-on-one IT support and education for our clients. We’re not some big-box store that treats customers like numbers - we care!” That mentality guides Silvia and her team as they help people navigate their technology.
