Call for Artists: Paint the Path to Peace

The Great Mother March is more than an event—it is a 32-day transformative pilgrimage from Asheville to DC, fueled by empowerment, creativity, and a renewed connection to the Earth. On April 18, 2026, this movement arrives in Warrenton, and Art Studio 81 is ready to welcome it with open arms.

We are inviting local creators to contribute to our Visiting Artist Wall, a curated collection designed to support and inspire the marchers as they pass through our community.

Submission Guidelines:

• Theme: Love, Earth, Compassion, and Peace.

• Size: Up to 16” x 20” (Any media, must be able to hang on the wall).

• Requirement: Must be an original work by the submitting artist.

• Timeline: We are accepting pieces starting March 1st, 2026 thru April 15th.

Join us on April 18 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM for a collaborative mural painting at the studio. 

Let’s create a legacy together.

Accepted work must arrive at Art Studio 81 by the stated due date and picked up by April 30th. Artists are responsible for any costs related to transporting work to the gallery and transporting work away at the end of the show.  All artists shall be solely and exclusively responsible to insure properly and adequately their work and property. Art Studio 81 reserves the right to reject works accepted due to content, space constraints, or inability to properly install the work. Please note this is a Display Only show.
