26th Annual Superintendent’s Scramble
 Fauquier Education Foundation Returns its Primary Fundraiser
to Fauquier Springs Country Club on June 11
 
WARRENTON, VA—The Fauquier Education Foundation is proud to announce that registration is now open for the 26th Annual Superintendent’s Scramble Golf Tournament. In an exciting homecoming, the tournament returns to the historic Fauquier Springs Country Club on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

The Captain’s Choice event kicks off with registration at 8:00 a.m., followed by a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start. As the Foundation’s primary annual fundraiser, the tournament brings together community leaders, educators, and golf enthusiasts to support the future of Fauquier County Public Schools (FCPS).
 
Tournament Highlights
Participants will enjoy a premium day on the greens, including:
  • Full Amenities: Green fees, golf carts, and a special player gift.
  • Food & Beverage: On-course lunch, refreshments, and an awards reception following play.
  • Competitions: Prizes for Gross and Net winners, Longest Drive, and Closest-to-the-Pin.
 
Impact and Sponsorships
Net proceeds from the tournament directly fund the Foundation’s Educator Professional Development Grants and other vital initiatives that empower students and teachers across the county.
  • Registration: $150 per individual / $600 per foursome.
  • Sponsorships: Opportunities range from $150 (for tee signs) to $3,000. These high-visibility slots—including Title, Patron, and Superintendent levels—traditionally sell out quickly.
 
“Returning to Fauquier Springs marks a special milestone for our 26th year,” said Dr. Major Warner, FCPS superintendent. “This event is more than just a round of golf; it’s an investment in the innovative educational opportunities that help our students thrive.”
