Playverse is signed to enhance Fauquier center

March 30, 2026- A premium indoor soft-play park for children ages 0 - 12 is coming to Warrenton Towne Centre, in the Town of Warrenton, Fauquier County’s county seat.

Kalis Development Corporation (KDC), the center’s management agent, has announced that Playverse has signed a lease for a 5,789 sq. ft. space at this center, hailing it as a complementary addition brought about by Renaud Consulting of Vienna, Virginia.

“Playverse is the sort of use that can raise a center’s performance,” said Renaud Vice President Diane Oroz 571 765-4433. “Its presence will drive strong daily traffic, enhance our tenant mix, and further Warrenton Towne Centre’s position in this market.”

Playverse will join anchors Food Lion and The Open Box as a complimentary use at this center.

This 119,000-sq.-ft. center serves an affluent and well populated trade area, with approximately 25,000 residents within a five-mile radius and average household incomes of $170,940.

Other noteworthy tenants at this property include Harbor Freight Tools, Marine Corps Career Center, Dollar General, Habitat ReStore, and El Jaripeo Mexican Restaurant.

Playverse will be one of a number of recent openings at what many call Warrenton’s Food Lion center. Other new tenants include Threading Hub N More which opened in 2025 and Function First Therapy Services LLC which is opening in 2026.

“The introduction of a children’s recreational use to our center can have a dynamic impact on a shopping center by driving repeat visits, expanding daily-use appeal and advancing the performance of surrounding tenants,” said KDC’s CEO Nicholas Kalis. “This lease bolsters our center’s long-term value and our dedication to deliberate merchandising that positions our centers for repeated success.”

Renaud Consulting reports that Warrenton has three more available spaces ranging in size from between 1,278 to 8,470 square feet.

Warrenton Towne Centre is located on Route 211 (Frost Avenue) near its intersection with Broadview Avenue, about 43 miles west of Washington DC.
