Fredericksburg, VA — The Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce Celebrates Grand Opening, Ribbon Cutting, Anniversary, and Launch of 360Forward Headquarters
The Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce (VABCC) will celebrate a historic milestone on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, with the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of its new headquarters in Downtown Fredericksburg, while also commemorating its anniversary and the official launch of the 360Forward Headquarters.
The celebration will take place from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 317 William Street and will bring together entrepreneurs, elected officials, economic development leaders, community organizations, educators, members, and supporters from across the Commonwealth.
What began in January 2020 as the Virginia Black Business Directory has grown into one of Virginia's largest statewide business ecosystems. Today, the Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce has served more than 2,644 businesses, engaged more than 14,131 individuals, and delivers programs, resources, advocacy, and connections that support entrepreneurship and economic growth throughout Virginia.
The event will celebrate not only the Chamber's continued expansion but also the launch of 360Forward, a transformational initiative designed to create pathways for entrepreneurship, workforce development, leadership growth, and community advancement.
"This space represents far more than a new office," said Ernisha Hall, President and CEO of the Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce. "It represents a vision that began with a simple business directory in 2020 and has evolved into a statewide movement focused on creating opportunity. The launch of 360Forward allows us to bring entrepreneurs, workforce partners, community organizations, educational institutions, and business leaders together under one roof to create meaningful impact across Virginia."
The new headquarters will serve as the home of 360Forward, the Chamber's comprehensive model for supporting individuals, entrepreneurs, businesses, and communities through four core pathways:
• Entrepreneur Pathway
• Workforce Pathway
• Community Pathway
• Leadership Pathway
The facility will also house the Fredericksburg Regional Entrepreneurship & Innovation Hub, providing dedicated space for business training, accelerator programs, workforce-readiness initiatives, educational workshops, mentorship, leadership development, and strategic partnerships.
Through the VABCC Foundation, a Virginia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, 360Forward programming will help connect individuals and families to resources that strengthen economic mobility, workforce participation, entrepreneurship, financial readiness, and long-term community wellbeing.
Guests attending the celebration will have the opportunity to tour the new headquarters, learn about upcoming programs and initiatives, network with business and community leaders, and participate in the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Since its founding, the organization has:
• Served more than 2,644 businesses across Virginia
• Engaged more than 14,131 individuals
• Delivered more than 200 events, workshops, and educational programs
• Supported entrepreneurs through business development, networking, and accelerator programming
• Established partnerships with corporations, universities, economic development organizations, government agencies, and community leaders throughout the Commonwealth
• Expanded community impact through the VABCC Foundation and the development of 360Forward
The organization recently received grant support from partners, including Alfred Street Baptist Church, Stafford Economic Development Authority, AWS, and the Prince William Chamber Community Foundation, to expand workforce development, entrepreneurship, leadership development, and community impact initiatives through 360Forward.
The Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce remains committed to its mission of building a sustainable and diverse business ecosystem that encourages growth, champions innovation, and creates opportunities for entrepreneurs, businesses, and communities to thrive.
